A solid Star Wars effort. Lacked some of the spirit present in Zahn's series and the original, in part because it focused too much on an outside alien menace which brought the Rebels and Imperials together in ways which weren't entirely plausible. Character development was rich as was world building and the plot has plenty of action and humor and a nice pace.
