A charming debut filled with well drawn characters an interesting, nicely paced plot and witty, realistic dialogue, this is not your usual romance novel. It's a romantic comedy and the sexual tension is at its best but the raunchy sex scenes are tasteful and limited. If that kind of thing deters you from romance novels or love stories, give this a try. In fact, the sex scenes were well handled, if only my mother hadn't kept calling every time I read one (there are only a couple), I'd have enjoyed them more. The only weaknesses for me were a couple plot devices which seemed a bit convenient (contrived) and male characters which at times tipped into a little too cliche (although I attribute it solely to Fenske being a female writing men, much as I might be criticized for not quite nailing my women characters, no innuendo intended.) Altogether, a delightful, fast, well written read. A fun escape. Highly recommended.
