Patient Zero
Utterly compelling, well plotted, and an adrenaline rush. Like reading a Die Hard or Lethal Weapon movie, a good one. And the zombies are not forefront, so those bored with that trope will still enjoy this. Contemporary espionage setting will appeal to fans of David Morrell, Tom Clancy, WEB Griffin and others. I can see why this was a bestseller and why the series is popular and as strong as ever. Highly recommended.
