The Poisonwood Bible
This book was a great read until the last third. Then I feel it totally became stereotyped tripe. It lost me at that point, and I felt it became an entirely different book and one I didn't enjoy at all. The first part was lush with its view of life as missionaries in a foreign world and life in Africa. But where it ended up was dissatisfying.
