A superb follow up. Couldn't put it down, especially as the tension rose in the last third and raced toward the end. Kowal once again captures the period and prose of Austen but, more than that, she captures the history and employs it well to add poignancy and drama to her story. As Jane and Vincent visit friends in Europe on honeymoon, Jane discovers an idea to possibly combine Glamour With Glass, meanwhile, Jane discovers a secret about her health that changes anything. Then trouble comes in the form of politics and the two must work together and fight for each other to survive. A great read, even better than first. What are you waiting for? Highly recommended!
